The project “The Aerospace sector in Campania and in the Naples area” aimes at the internationalisation of the aerospace companies of Campania region (Italy).
The project is managed by Consorzio Technapoli, Science and Technology Park of Naples, on behalf of Campania Region Administration, Province of Naples and Naples Chamber of Commerce.

Main objective of the internationalisation project is to establish relationships between aerospace companies from Campania Region and Russian Federation, with the aim of structuring a stable cooperation in terms of collaborative actions and projects in different fields such as, for example, research and development, composites and new materials, restyling and/or upgrading of aircrafts or components according to international qualification/certification requirements.

Campania region represents one of the five aerospace poles in Italy, because of its long tradition in the field and the high level of companies know how. The most relevant enterprises of our region are mainly specialised in research, industrial engineering, design and production of aircraft, aircraft’s subsystems and components, space components and applications.

Relevant skills of Aerospace companies from Campania region are:

• general aviation aircraft design and manufacturing — prototyping and reverse engineering
• general and commercial aviation aircraft design, maintenance and fixing — interiors design, manufacture and/or maintenance
• mechanical subsystems, components and structures — aircraft carrier certifications, technical staff training and qualification
• aircraft?s electronic subsystems and components — software development
• surface treatments, qualification, testing and non-destructive controls — territorial remote sensing by multi-spectrum sensors

The project for the promotion of Neapolitan companies in the Russian market provides, inter alia, the realization of: 

• sector experts missions in Russia and / or from Russia (incoming and outgoing), designed to define one or more agreements of cooperation with Russian companies and the consequent need and exchanges of know-how, with particular reference to technical procedures;
• contacts with institutions of the Russian Federation aimed to establish a collaborative agreement with the Province Administration of Naples, to be signed during an institutional mission;
• promotion activities of the project and communication of results.
